The BG Pool & Waterpark will be hosting the GNOAC CHAMPS Swim Meet this Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14. The pool will be closed to the general public for swimming, but anyone is welcome to enter and watch the swim meet or purchase snacks from the concessions stand.
The splash pad area will be open and free to the public during the meet on Saturday and Sunday. Users should enter the gate at the front of the splash pad.
The CHAMPS meet rotates around the league and each swim club gets the opportunity to host approximately every seven or eight years. The Bowling Green Gators swim team last hosted in 2017.
The public is advised that there will be a lot of out of town visitors in City Park this weekend for the meet.
