The Bowling Green Board of Education hired a new human resources director for the school district Thursday evening.
Renae Tietje will receive an annual salary of $109,000. She is filling the position of human resources director held by Dawn Dazell before she retired after 19 years in the job.
Tietje currently works in human resources at Keller Logistics in Defiance, where she has been employed for seven years. She grew up near Wooster, and graduated from Defiance College. She recently completed the Toledo Region Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
Tietje, who has three children, said she is looking forward to “supporting student achievement and district goals” in her position with BG City Schools.
