Aidan Thomas, 8th grade and Cole Boswell, freshman were selected to sing in the 2023 American Choral Directors Association National Middle School Honors Choir. The choir will rehearse and perform at the National ACDA conference being held in Cincinnati Feb. 22-25 and will be conducted by Andrea Ramsey, an internationally known choral composer and conductor.
Students in grades 6,7,8 and 9 from all over the United States sent in recordings this fall. Aidan and Cole were selected from hundreds of applicants.
The concert will feature a wide variety of music including original songs from Andrea Ramsey along with an original piece that was commissioned for this honors choir.
The concert will be on Saturday, Feb. 25 at noon in the Cincinnati Music Hall.
