BGPD arrests Findlay woman after reviving her with Narcan

A Bowling Green police officer administered Narcan to a woman passed out behind the wheel in a parked car that was running in the Meijer parking lot on East Wooster Street, Saturday around 6:40 p.m.

Once she was revived, Heather Risser, 45, Findlay, was arrested for not having physical control of her vehicle while under the influence, improper handling of a firearm, and having an expired driver’s license.

After receiving a call from a bystander, police tried to rouse Risser, but could not until administering the Narcan. The officer also reportedly found a firearm, with a round in the chamber and a loaded magazine, in the pocket of the driver’s door.

After initially telling officers she was just napping in her car, Risser reportedly told them that she has taken heroin in the past.

Police located a paper plate on the passenger seat that had white powder residue on it, and 10 hypodermic needles in a bag in a backpack.

Risser was taken to Wood County Hospital to be cleared before being taken to Wood County Jail.
