The Bowling Green State University is winding up a busy summer.
This week the campus is hosting about 2,000 campers. Some attending a church camp, others cheerleading camps, and yet others band camps.

Patrick Nelson, director of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union and Conference and Event Services, reported in late May that about 10,000 overnight guests were scheduled to stay on campus this year, a record number.

That activity will bring in more than $4 million.
The summer activity will culminate the first week of August with the with the annual leadership institute of Sigma Chi.
