Bowling Green State University will hold Summer Commencement exercises on Friday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 5, on the Bowling Green campus.
For the second time, BGSU will offer a hooding ceremony for doctoral degree candidates at 4 p.m. on Friday in the Donnell Theater of the Wolfe Center for the Arts.
A ceremony for all associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday outdoors on the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle, west of University Hall.
In total, the Summer 2023 class consists of 809 candidates, of which 26 will be presented associate degrees, 386 will be presented bachelor’s degrees, 355 with master’s degrees and 46 with doctoral degrees. Every candidate will have the opportunity to cross the Commencement stage and receive their diploma cover.
For graduates or guests not able to attend, ceremonies will be livestreamed at BGSU.edu, BGSU YouTube and BGSU Facebook. Videos of graduate names read by each college will be available online.
