On Saturday, Sept. 30, members of the BG Bobcat Band will participate in their annual fundraiser (formerly known as Tag Day). This year, members of the band will be performing at the Bowling Green Walmart, 131 W. Gypsy Lane, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and asking for contributions to the band program.
Band members will also be soliciting donations to The Brown Bag Food Project.
The Bobcat Band enrollment is over 300 students in grades 6 – 12 and will have over 50 performances this year.
Monetary donations will be used to purchase, repair, and replace uniforms (some are 30 years old), instruments, fund student scholarships, and support other related activities of the Bobcat Bands.

The Brown Bag Food Project provides food and services to Wood County families in need. Community members can donate canned foods and other non- perishable food items
