Bonita “Bonnie” A. VanFleet ,79, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on Saturday February 8, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1946, to the late Vernon and Joyce (Johnson) Williams.
Bonnie graduated from Bowling Green State University, class of 1964. She received her degree in education. Her scholastic drive led her to become an elementary school teacher. She taught first grade for Milton Schools. Bonnie was known for her passion and dedication for teaching. In her free time, she enjoyed playing solitaire and socializing with friends. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Bonnie was a devoted mother and friend who will be missed dearly by all.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jennifer VanFleet of Bowling Green, Ohio; her son Gregary VanFleet; cherished brother Dennis (Shirley) Williams of Lecanto, Florida and many close friends.
Family and friends will be received on Monday February 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday February 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 150 S. Enterprise St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Father Tom McQuillen will officiate. Interment will be held later in the spring at Oak Grove Cemetery.
