From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Spots Up Top, the newly renovated upstairs event space at Mister Spots Restaurant in Bowling Green. The official ceremony will take place on Friday, Jan. 16, at 4 p.m., at 206 N. Main St.
In 2024, Mister Spots CEO Jimmy Gavarone began transforming the restaurant’s upstairs area into a permanent bar and event space. The result is Spots Up Top – a laid-back destination designed for gathering with friends, watching games, or enjoying live entertainment.
Spots Up Top has a full bar and back bar area, multiple televisions, a projector, and a sound system, making it a venue for both casual and more formal events.
Mister Spots first opened its doors on Feb. 17, 1986. Founded by Gavarone, a former Bowling Green State University student and Philadelphia native, the restaurant was built on a passion for authentic cheesesteaks and wings. The restaurant was named after Gavarone’s cat, Spot.
Gavarone met his wife, Theresa, while in college, and together they raised their three children in Bowling Green. As Mister Spots celebrates 40 years of serving the Bowling Green community, the opening of Spots Up Top marks a new chapter.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join in celebrating this new event space in the city of Bowling Green. To secure a spot, RSVP at https://www.bgchamber.net/rsvp/ or call the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce at 419-353-7945.
