The community is invited to Bowling Green State University to attend its interfaith forum on Wednesday, March 18, from 4:30 – 5:45 p.m., in 219 Olscamp Hall. Dr. Andrew Kunze, assistant teaching professor in history, Asian studies, and international studies at BGSU, will moderate the discussion.
The event will include a panel made of four participants across various religious traditions who will discuss money.
Rev. Dr. Jeffrey A. Schooley is the pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green. He holds a Ph.D. in Christian ethics from Duquesne University. Dr. S. Zaheer, Hasan, M.D., is a neurologist with ProMedica and serves on the Governor of Ohio’s Board for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Jay Rinsen Weik Roshi, is Abbot of the Zen Buddhist Temple of Toledo, founder of the Toledo Mindfulness Institute, 6th Don Aikido Sensei, and professor of music, jazz studies at the University of Toledo. Dipti Vyas is the vice-chair of the Multifaith Council of Northwest Ohio.
The event is free and open to the public. Tea and snacks will be served.
