BRAVE (Black Rights Activism Visibility & Equity) will host its fourth annual Juneteenth celebration at the Wooster Green in Bowling Green, on June 17, from 2-8 p.m.
The event will honor freedom and Black culture in the Bowling Green community. There will be Black-owned businesses selling their products ranging from skincare to accessories, and live music spanning genres from R&B to Neo-Soul by artists Mike Williams on Sax, Nate Hicks, The Cofields, Kim Joyce, De’Aris, and N’shai Iman.
Food truck Island Soul will be serving Caribbean cuisines, and Fat Boyz will have hot wings and burgers for the duration of the event.
BRAVE welcomes attendees of all ages to drop by throughout the day to enjoy various experiences, food, music, art, as well as kids activities such as bouncy houses, yard games, and face painting.
Wooster Green is located at the corner of West Wooster Street and South Church Street.
