Calvin A Hutchinson

Calvin Allen Boyd-Hutchinson was born July 23, 1958, to Harold “Sonny” & Margaret Boyd in Fairfield, Illinois. At nineteen he met the love of his life, Marisa, who he married November 18, 1978. They spent exactly forty-seven years married as he left this earth on November 18, 2025.

Calvin’s greatest joy in life was “his girls”. He had two daughters and later became an Opi to two granddaughters. Family was everything to him and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family. If you were blessed enough to be his friend, you had a friend for life. If he had a nickname for you that’s what you would always be known as. He loved riding and working on motorcycles and got his first Harley at twenty-three. He could fix anything, just ask his granddaughters. He was the epitome of a badass which he got from his father, but he had a heart of gold, a gift from his mother. He was a legend, one of a kind, and they just don’t make men like him anymore. A close family friend stated it best, “I mourn for anyone that never got the opportunity to meet Calvin”

He is survived by his loving wife, Marisa; daughters Bianca & Dominique Hutchinson; granddaughters Layla & Ana Hutchinson; bonus daughters Malori (Chad) McCloskey & Erin Oliver; and bonus grandchildren Taytum, Kyler, Cohen, Ellison & Londyn McCloskey, and Keke Oliver; and siblings Harold Boyd & Maggie (Tom) Keefe.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold & Margaret, his brothers John, Raymond, Kenneth, and his sister Lesley.

Calvin’s funeral service will be held on Monday November 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home Located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W.
