The city of Bowling Green will need a primary election to narrow down the list of City Council candidates for some seats. But going unchallenged will be mayoral candidate Michael Aspacher and Second Ward council member John Zanfardino. The Democrats will have a contested primary for the one at-large seat.
Following is a list of candidates who filed to run for city seats as of Wednesday’s deadline with the Wood County Board of Elections.
