Caroline Jean Cochran, age 82, of Pemberville, OH passed away at home with her family near her side, on Sunday, January 5, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1942 to Leonard H. and Myrtle I. (Jacobs) Cochran in Pemberville, OH. She married the love of her life Rodger Lee Cochran on March 15, 1970 at Pemberville United Methodist Church. Caroline and Rodger raised 3 children and celebrated over 54 years of marriage before Rodger’s passing last month.
Caroline worked at Kahler Drug Store in Pemberville for 20 years. She had also briefly worked at the phone company and at the local Citizens Bank. She was a member of Pemberville United Methodist Church, where she volunteered in many ministries. Caroline enjoyed shopping, and going to garage sales. She liked watching Wheel of Fortune and other game shows on TV. Caroline’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Caroline is survived by her children: Jean (Brian) Fite of Bowling Green, and Jack Cochran of Pemberville. Grandson; James (Mary Schardt) Fite of MD, sister; Marilyn (David) Wilson of Pemberville and brother; Herbert (Jane Ann) Garn of Delaware, OH. In addition to her husband Rodger, she was preceded in death by her parents, son; Lee Cochran, and brother; Richard Garn.
There are no public services at this time. However, the family plans on hosting a Memorial Service at a future date to be announced.
