Wood County Senior Center

The Wood County Committee on Aging will host “Cars and Cookies,” an event held in a portion of the parking lot at the Wood County Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St., Bowling Green, on Friday, May 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. (The rain date is Friday, May 9, from 4 to 6 p.m.)

All attendees are welcome to park in the northeast area parking lot of the senior center and surrounding streets. Bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit and enjoy the music and dancing.

This event will be a blend of speed and sweetness. Enjoy viewing high-performance vehicles and tasting baked goods. Those attending will get a behind-the-scenes look at everything from sleek sports cars to powerful muscle machines.

The event is designed for car enthusiasts, baked goods lovers, those who enjoy listening to a band or watching a dance group SILKI (Seriously Incredible Ladies Kickin’ It! instructed by Shelia Brown) and those who enjoy eating from Toledo O’Henry’s Kitchen on Wheels Food Truck.
