Cheryl Kay Sheldrick, age 67, of Bowling Green, OH passed away at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. She was born Cheryl K. Lewis on February 7, 1958 in Bowling Green, OH to Walter E. and Avenelle (Hall) Lewis.
Cheryl worked for various employers including: Cooper Tires in Bowling Green, Motor-Wheel in Luckey, Uhlman’s Clothing also in Bowling Green, and as a welder for Modine in Pemberville for 15 plus years. She enjoyed bowling, diamond painting, camping, craft shows and watching soap operas. Cheryl had many joys in life, however, it was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren that brought her the most joy. In fact, Cheryl was looking forward to becoming a great-grandma in June.
Cheryl is survived by her children: Jennifer (Mark) Gillingham of Cygnet; and Brian Sheldrick of Findlay. Grandchildren: Abigale, Ethan, and Haylee. Sisters: Carole Kohring of Pemberville; Cathi (Kevin) Kerns of Peach Tree, GA; and brother: Donald “Dale” (Karen) Lewis of Bluffton, SC. Father of her children: William Sheldrick of Trout Creek, MT; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend: Fred Levee of Bowling Green; and feline pal Pickles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cheryl will be laid to rest in Portage Township Cemetery at a family committal. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at a later date to be announced.
