Cheryl Ann Limes, 76, of Holland, Ohio passed away May 26, 2023. She was born July 30, 1946 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Glenn and Gertrude (Spitler) Vollmar. She married the love of her life Gerald Limes on September 11, 1965 and they were seldom apart. He survives in Holland.
Cheryl was a 1964 graduate of Otsego High School. She worked as a secretary for Otsego Schools for 27 years before retiring. She was a member of the University of Toledo Alumni Association as well as The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
She was a great fan of Ernie Haase Signature Sound, was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan and enjoyed all athletics. Her greatest joy was her family. She relished in her role as “mimi” and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking with her family, her staples being mimi’s chili and chicken and noodles.
Along with her husband of nearly 58 years, Jerry, Cheryl is survived by her children Jodi Limes of Perrysburg, Ohio and Jeff (Christine) Limes of Stony Ridge, Ohio , grandchildren Mckenzie Dozer, Hannah Limes, Jacob Limes and Zane Limes and sister-in-law Barb Vollmar of Tontogany, Ohio.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday June 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Rd. Monclova, Ohio 43542. Pastor Jeremy Rands will officiate. Interment will follow at Tontogany Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday June 5, 2023 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Tontogany, Ohio.
