CIFT will premiere its documentary short, “Women in Food” Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m. on its social media outlets.
In 2001 there were two women in Fortune 500 CEO roles. In 2021 there were 45. Things are changing, including in the food industry. The documentary focuses on representation, in particular the growth of women leading in the food industry.
These are the stories of three different female owners/CEOS of Ohio companies:
- Chimene Mayne Ross, President and CCO of The Killer Brownie Company.
- Danielle Lark-Arbinger, CEO Guac Shop.
- Kimmi Wenli, CEO of Crazy Richards.
They share their perspectives as women and mothers while leading food companies into the future. The result is inspirational and uplifting for the next generation of young girls who want more and more opportunity in the food space.
