Cindy Jo Patterson, age 63, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Bridge Hospice, Bowling Green, OH. She was born on the family farm November 20, 1958 to Arnold and Alice (Schmeltz) Christen in Bowling Green, OH. She went on to graduate from Rossford High School in 1975.
Cindy worked operating her own business as a truck dispatcher 25 plus years before she retired. She was a lifelong member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dowling, OH. Other memberships included: the American Legion Post #320 in Maumee, 4-H Club Advisor and The Power of Yester Year Club, just to mention a few. She was the proud winner of the 2017 Culinary Sweepstakes Award at the Wood County Fair. A 2005 candidate for Perrysburg Township Trustee, Cindy demonstrated her passion and caring support for her community. From being raised on a farm, and raising her own family on a farm to supporting a myriad of local venues, Cindy did not let circumstances in life keep her from caring for others. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her children: Selena Grace Madden and Kenneth Christen Patterson. Special friend, Jamal, sister, Judy of AZ, numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, brothers: Bill, and Bob Christen, sister, Pam Christen, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
There are no public services at this time. Cindy Jo will be laid to rest at a future date to be announced.
