Civista Bank has announced the hiring of Mark Cassin as senior vice president, regional market executive for northwest Ohio. A lifelong northwest Ohio resident, Cassin brings 46 years of banking industry experience to Civista. In his new role, he will lead a team of commercial bankers and support staff dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals, while strengthening the bank’s presence and growth in the northwest Ohio market.
Cassin, a graduate of the University of Toledo, has been active in Bowling Green, where he and his wife, Cheryl, reside. He currently serves as vice president of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, vice president of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and is also a member of the Be Better Foundation. In recognition of his community service, he was named 2024 Volunteer of the Year in Bowling Green.
