Ohio State Highway Patrol Dispatcher Sara M. Clabaugh has been selected as the 2024 Dispatcher of the Year at the Bowling Green Dispatch Center.
The selection of Dispatcher Clabaugh, 26, is in recognition of outstanding service over the past year at the Bowling Green Dispatch Center.
Sworn officers and dispatchers chose Clabaugh based on technical job knowledge and ability, enthusiastic work attitude, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public’s request for information and assistance.
Dispatcher Clabaugh is now in contention for the District and State Dispatcher of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.
Dispatcher Clabaugh joined the Patrol in 2022 and has served at the Bowling Green Dispatch Center throughout her career. She was nominated for the Ohio Public Safety Telecommunications Gold Star Award in 2023.
Dispatcher Clabaugh earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Arizona in 2023. She is originally from Piqua and a graduate of Otsego High School.
She resides in Henry County with her husband and children.
