The Cocoon, Wood County’s only comprehensive domestic and sexual violence agency, will be hosting a Family Fun Day at Woodlands Park, 429 E. Boundary, Perrysburg, on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
In conjunction with partners The Bard’s Coffee, DCTaylor, Glovation Circus, Now Serving, Perrysburg Moving & Hauling, rightsizelife.com, and Ruck & Wright Law, the event will feature face painting, stilt walkers, lunch offerings by Now Serving, refreshments from The Bard’s Coffee and live music by DCTaylor.
The event will be held in the shelter house at Woodlands Park and is open to the public.
There is no cost to attend the event. Lunch offerings and refreshments are available for a donation in the amount of your choice. All donations will be put into funding programs and services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
