Coffee Quest 419, the beloved coffee trail in the Toledo region, officially kicks off today, August 1. Now organized by Destination Toledo, this year’s edition features an expanded lineup of 27 participating locations, a fresh “Road Trip” theme, and exciting new prizes. From August 1 to October 31, coffee enthusiasts can celebrate local culture and community while exploring their favorite coffee spots and discovering new ones.

Participating locations include Flatlands Coffee and Juniper Brewing Company, both in Bowling Green.

“We’ve seen so much excitement already! From the pre-sign ups to the coffee shops doing special posts and menus, there’s great support for this event and the Toledo coffee community happening.” says Lexi Burton, Destination Toledo’s Leisure Sales Marketing Specialist.

Destination Toledo opened a pre-sign-up form ahead of this year’s Coffee Quest 419, collecting over 2,000 participants before the beginning of the trail. Upon signing up for Coffee Quest 419, the mobile passport is sent directly to the participants via email and text message.

Coffee Quest 419 features three opportunities for prizes this year. After three stops, participants can collect a CQ419 themed license plate sticker at any participating location. Once a participant checks-in at 23 locations, they can order their earned themed t-shirt prize directly through the passport. Prize shirts will be printed locally by apparel company and sponsor, Jupmode, and shipped directly to participants. Those who check in at all 27 locations will be automatically entered into a Grand Prize drawing for a chance to win one of three prize packages.

Also new this year, select shops are selling Coffee Quest 419 reusable mugs. “We heard feedback from the shops and participants that they would love a sustainable alternative to single use cups.” says Burton. “These mugs can be purchased at certain locations including Maddie & Bella, The Bard’s, Wandering Bean Coffee, Flying Joe, and more.”
