The contractor working on the Conneaut Avenue lift station and sanitary sewer line, Spear Brothers, has finished the manhole installation as well as the installation of the short section of the sanitary sewer line located near Conneaut Hill. That site will be completely restored at the end of the project.
Current work is focused on the lift station construction located at 1353 Conneaut Ave. Within the coming weeks (and in conjunction with the lift station construction), Spear Brothers will begin work on the installation of the sanitary sewer force main line from the lift station to Ketner Drive. Intermittent traffic delays may occur as a result of this work.
The entire project is anticipated to last through the summer, with re-paving the short section of Conneaut, from Wintergarden to just west of Lafayette, to occur last. Questions about this may be directed to the Engineering Division at 419-354-6227.
