Craig Garber

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Alan Garber, who left us on April 29, 2025, at the age of 62. Craig was born on March 10, 1963, in Bowling Green, Ohio, and called Weston, Ohio, his home until the end.

Craig graduated from Eastwood High School in 1981. For 20 years, he dedicated his time as a cashier at Meijer. On May 8, 1993, Craig married the love of his life, Sandy (Tampurage) Garber, at Bethel Assembly of God Church, and she lovingly survives him. He also leaves behind his son, Bryce (Mickaylah) Garber; his brother, Rev. Andy (Pam) Garber, and 4 foster grandchildren. Craig was preceded in death by his parents Karl and Opal Garber his brother, Eric, and sister, Vicki.

Craig was a lifelong train enthusiast. He loved making trips to the Deshler Rail Park, where his passion for trains could truly shine. An avid collector, he cherished his collection of trains, vinyl records, and CDs, filling his home with music and memories.

Contributions in his honor may be gifted to Sonlight Church, Weston.

Visitation for Craig will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. His funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Noon at Sonlight Church, 19920 Sand Ridge Rd, Weston, OH 43569. Burial immediately will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens.
