David James Chesney, 62, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday July 31, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Richard and Carolyn (Gerwin) Chesney. David married Julie Lynott on September 26, 1987, and she survives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
David worked as a yardman for Carter Lumber in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was known to be a jack of all trades to his friends and family. He loved to fish, hunt, work on carpentry, enjoyed antiquing and cheering on the Detroit Tigers baseball team. David was a softball and football dad, never missing an opportunity to attend his children’s games.
Along with his wife of 36 years, Julie, David is survived by his children Brandon Chesney of Bowling Green, Ohio and daughter Jessica Chesney of Bowling Green, Ohio, 3 grandchildren, Colton, Wyatt and Cillian, sisters, Michelle (Walt) Vandromme of Maumee, Ohio and Cynthia (Fred) Hille of Sylvania, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cheryl Chesney.
Services will be private for the Chesney family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W Wooster St.
