David W. Grover, age 70, of Lyons, OH passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born on July 12, 1953, in Bowling Green, OH to Arthur G. and Marcella E. (Buchman) Grover. David married Beth L. Richardson on January 15, 2006 in Bullhead City AZ. David and Beth blended their collective families and celebrated 18 years of marriage.
David worked 30 years as a Technician for Proctor and Gamble before retirement. He was a member of the American Legion, Field and Stream Gun Club and was an avid NASCAR fan. David enjoyed the outdoors including: fishing, traveling, and camping. However, his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Beth, David is survived by his children: Mike (Brittany) Grover of Spencerville, OH, Cynthia Nixon of ID, and Tony Grover of ID. Stepchildren: Aaron (Jen) Dunn of Wauseon, OH, Matt (Carol) Dunn of MI, Jennifer (Josh) Compau of MI, and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Brothers: Roger (Jan) Grover of Wayne, OH, Don (Sandy) Grover of Bowling Green, OH, sisters: Jane Schultz of Bradner, OH, Judy Walter of Bowling Green, OH, sisters-in-law: Belinda Grover of Portage, OH, and Debbie Grover of Waynesfield, OH. David was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, David James Grover, grandsons: Paul Compau, and Michael Swartz. Brothers: Ray, Ron, Bob, Doug, and Dale Allen Grover.
Family and friends will be received 11a.m. – 1p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 1p.m., on Wednesday. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Philabaum. Interment will be in Pemberville Union Cemetery, Pemberville.
