Is your nonprofit organization wanting to make a greater impact on the community? Do you have a unique project planned but are struggling with funding it?
The Bowling Green Community Foundation (BGCF) is awarding grants to help fund a variety of programs in the local community. Applications are open until Oct. 14.
The annual grant program is the primary purpose of the Bowling Green Community Foundation. The grant committee carefully evaluates applicants before funding is dispersed in January. In 2021 the foundation supported 19 organizations and awarded a total of $52,559.27.
“The Bowling Green Community Foundation grants program fills an important need in our community as a potential resource for funding for the amazing nonprofits in the BG area. These diverse non-profits, including organizations that support the arts, projects for seniors and children, downtown beautification, mental health, food banks, and so many others, are working hard every day to do good, to make a difference in the lives of our citizens, and to make BG a better place to live and work. The BGCF is thrilled to be a part of all that goodness,” Emily Dunipace, Bowling Green Community Foundation President.
Grants are awarded to 501(c)(3) organizations located in the 43402 and 43403 zip codes and school district areas. Awards are annual and range from $500 to $7,500. The application can be found at bgohcf.org/applyforgrant.Applicants can contact bgcf@bgohcf.org with any questions.
