Wood County Community Health Center is bringing dental services to the North Baltimore Public Library, 230 N. Main St., on Tuesday, Jan. 13, and Wednesday, Jan. 14. Appointment slots are now open for this event, which aims to bring dental services closer to home for individuals in the North Baltimore area.

A dental story time and meet-and-greet will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 11 a.m. – noon. The community is invited to come meet the Tooth Fairy and enjoy free giveaways.

Dental exams, X-rays, cleanings, fluoride, sealants, and silver diamine fluoride treatments will be available for youth ages 0 – 14. The dental care will take place on Jan. 13 and 14, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call Wood County Community Health Center at 419-354-9049.

Most dental insurance plans are accepted, including Medicaid insurance plans, and a sliding fee discount is available to help with out-of-pocket costs and for those who do not have dental insurance. A consent form must be completed by each patient’s parent or guardian. Consent forms are available at the library.

Wood County Health Department’s Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program will also be on-hand to provide nutrition education and program eligibility information. Dental and WIC services are available to all individuals, regardless of county residence.
