Donna Louann Abdo, of Toledo, passed away at the Manor at Greendale on Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1934 in Metamora and spent most of her life in Toledo. She was the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Probert) Rollman. She was formerly married to Donald Powers, and later Ronald Abdo who both preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Randy Powers, of Bowling Green, and a daughter, Donette Powers, of Weston. Her grandchildren, David and Donald Traver and Kadie Cornell, great grandchildren, Bailee Taver and Gregory “Gypsy” McGowan Jr, as well as a sister, Kay Sarka, of Toledo. Preceding her in death were her parents, former husbands, a son, Mykle Powers, brothers, Lynnford “Lindy”, Dale, and Richard “Dick” Rollman, sisters, Dorothy “Dort” Schultz, Ila Steele, Grace “Dolly” Sipert, Ethel Bartlebaugh, and Barbara “Bobbie” Rollman.
Donna was a devoted homemaker who had a vibrant personality and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She adored turquoise jewelry, caring for her birds, exploring thrift stores and garage sales, tending to sunflowers, listening to Patsy Cline’s music, and savoring milkshakes. These passions brought color and joy to her life and to those around her.
