Donna M. Beeker, age 84, of Pemberville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, OH. She was born on July 6, 1932 in Bowling Green to Ernest and Mamie (Wenzel) Schroeder. In 1950 she graduated from Pemberville High School. On October 25, 1958 she married Richard Beeker in New Rochester, OH and he survives.
Donna was a sales clerk in the children’s department at Uhlman’s in Bowling Green for many years. Her memberships included: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #45, and VFW Auxiliary Post #1148 both of Bowling Green. She also served as a co-chairman for the Pemberville Free Fair Kiddie Parade for 30 years and was also a Cub Scout den mother. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, sports and especially attending her children and grandsons sporting events. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 58 years: Richard, sons: Brent (Judy) Beeker of McComb, OH, Craig (Kristine) Beeker of Santa Paula, CA, grandsons: Kenny, Jacob, Sam and Zac and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Emerson Schroeder and sisters: Revena Schnuth and Riva Bloom.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 220 Cedar Street, Pemberville, with additional visitation from 10:00 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Musteric. Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery, Pemberville. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services. Memorial contributions may be given to: Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
