Dorothy M. Mock, age 88, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born on November 16, 1936, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late Richard and Anna (Mitchell) Jimison.
Dorothy first married John Bialecki, and though their marriage later ended in divorce, they remained part of each other’s lives through their shared family. She later married Jerry Mock, in June of 1972. Jerry preceded her in death in January 2011.
A graduate of Bowling Green High School, Dorothy was a devoted member of New Life Alliance Church in Waterville, Ohio. She worked for the Anthony Wayne School District as a bus driver for over seven years and worked as a cook for Whitehouse Country Manor.
Dorothy loved to stay busy—whether she was traveling with her family, mowing her lawn, or spending time outdoors, she never missed a beat. She especially cherished escaping the cold Ohio winters at her Florida home in Orlando. Above all, she enjoyed the moments she spent with her beloved family.
She is survived by her loving children, Richard (Kay) Bialecki of Swanton, Ohio, Lee (Amy) Bialecki of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Ken (Dawn) Bialecki of Waterville, Ohio, Kathy (Gary) Bressler of Bowling Green, Ohio her 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband Jerry, Dorothy was preceded in death by her two sisters Joyce Rhoden and Joanne Cramer.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday November 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Whitehouse, Ohio located at 6603 Providence St. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday November 13, 2025, at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Whitehouse, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Dave Bezek will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Waterville, Ohio.
