Dr Russell St Clair

Dr. Russell St. Clair, age 74, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024. Born on January 30, 1950, in Bradner, Ohio, Russell was the beloved son of the late Richard and Emily (Deno) St. Clair.

Russell graduated from Lakota High School in 1967 and pursued his passion for chiropractic care, earning his doctorate in 1972 from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He proudly served his community for 50 years as a skilled and compassionate chiropractor, operating his own private practice in Bowling Green.

He was a devoted husband to Ava (Potter) St. Clair, with whom he built a beautiful life. He is survived by his son, Matthew (Amanda) St. Clair of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; daughter, Lyndsay (Jonathan) Will of Fremont, Ohio; his sister, Barbara Shammo; brother, Larry (Connie) St. Clair; sister-in-law, Lynn St. Clair; brother-in-law, Alan Potter; and son-in-law, Christopher Frank. Russell was the cherished grandfather of Katrina, Carter, Brady and Addison whose school and sports activities brought him immense joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Frank; his brother, Wayne; his brother-in-law, Ralph; and his sister-in-law, Pamela.

Russell was a talented cook who loved to BBQ and share meals with family and friends. In his younger years, he had a competitive side and loved playing softball and volleyball with his buddies.   Above all, he treasured time spent with his family, creating lasting memories and sharing his wisdom. 

Dr. Russell St. Clair’s legacy of dedication to family, community, and profession will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched through his work.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his honor may go to his grandchildren’s college fund.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 10:00 to Noon at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green.
