The Portage Center Arbor #524 of the Gleaner Life Insurance Company is holding an electronics recycling day.
The event will be Saturday, June 25, at the Elmwood Schools Community Center parking lot. The school is located at the corner of Jerry City and Bloomdale roads, near Bloomdale.
The fraternal organization along with AIM Recycling of Toledo will be accepting electronics to be recycled from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. Once at the school look for the signs to the drop off area.
The following items will be accepted for recycling: computers and accessories, flat screen/plasma TVs, office equipment, toner and ink, VCRs, DVD players, phones, cell phones, radios, game consoles, cameras and projectors.
Not accepted are tube TVs, air conditioners, batteries, bulbs, paint and appliances.
