Elinore Sheperd, 81 of Bowling Green passed away Thursday June 8, 2017 in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Elinore was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Ralph and Juantia (Palmer) Smeaton. She married James Sheperd on June 18, 1954 and he preceded her in death. Elinore is survived by her children: James (Lynette) Sheperd of Prospect, Tennessee and Christine (Larry) Reed of Bowling Green; grandchildren: Benjamin Simpkins, Hollie Root, Harold McDaniels, Megan Owens, Karen Cron and Jessica Sheperd; great-grandchildren: William Root, Joseph McDaniels, Harley Root, Rena McDaniels, Elijah Phillips, R.J. Rosson, Ashton McCandless, Bentley Rosson, Ronnie Klostermeier, and Remington Owens; half-brother Mark Repasz and a brother in-law Ira Powell. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Nancy Sheperd, granddaughter: Mandy Sheperd; a great-grandson: Perry Phillips and a sister: Teresa Powell.
Elinore worked at the Wood County Senior Center in the kitchen and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Graveside Service will be held on Monday July 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Portage Cemetery.
