Candidate forums have been scheduled in the Elmwood School District and the City of Perrysburg.
The Elmwood Education Association will be hosting the Elmwood Board of Education Candidate Forum on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 4-5 p.m. in the Community Center Auditorium. This year all five school board seats are up for election. The association is sponsoring an open forum for all the candidates to introduce themselves to the community and say a few words about their reasons for running for school board.
Candidates will give brief introductions and be asked questions by our moderator. Once the open forum is finished, candidates will have a chance to meet and greet prospective voters in the Elmwood Community Center Gymnasium.
The Perrysburg Area Democratic Club will hold a Candidates’ Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 p.m., in the Mercy Health Room at Way Public Library. All issues and candidates endorsed by the Wood County Democratic Party who are on the ballot in Northern Wood County on Nov. 7 have been invited to speak (http://www.woodcodemocrats.org/democratic-candidates.html).
