The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
What to expect:
- A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow will create slick conditions this afternoon and tonight.
- Areas closer to Lake Erie will see more snow/sleet with light icing.
- Farther south areas will receive one to two tenths of an inch of ice with locally higher amounts possible.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Wood County from 1 p.m. today (2-8-25) until 1 a.m. Sunday (2-9-25).
What has changed:
- Ice amounts have trended down slightly across the north and higher along the Route 30 corridor.
