Safe Communities of Wood County provided 232 safe rides in Bowling Green on St. Patrick’s Day during the annual Swallow Your Pride, Call for a Ride initiative. The project offers rides from 6 p.m. Friday until the early morning hours of Saturday.
This was the project’s fourth year. It provides a similar service on New Year’s Eve.
