The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced a raffle fundraiser for the 2025 Bowling Green community holiday parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22. Units will step off at approximately 9:50 a.m., with the first unit arriving in downtown Bowling Green at 10 a.m.

Ohio Logistics, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the City of Bowling Green, the City of Bowling Green Fire Division, American Warming & Ventilating (AWV), BG Pedal Company, and BG 4X4 Fest-Local Drive have partnered to offer parade-viewing experiences for families or businesses. Winners will receive front-row seats for friends, family, or coworkers, along with complimentary hot chocolate and brunch.

Each prize package provides a different way to experience the BG holiday parade. Bidding on auction items and bidding on raffle entries can be done on the LiveSource app at this link, bit.ly/BGPARADE, from Oct. 1 through Nov. 9. All winners will be notified Nov. 10 with final instructions.

The “Holiday Parade Experience” prize packages are as follows:

  • Celebration: This auction is for up to 14 people to ride on the BG Pedal Company pedal bike in the parade. Sue Shank cookies and hot chocolate will be provided, along with festive knit stocking hats for each rider. The winner’s family or business name will be displayed on a 6′ x 2′ banner on the pedal bike for parade-goers to see as the winner and their guests ride down Main Street on the parade route.
  • Executive Suite: This auction is for up to 10 people to watch the parade from the warmth of the second-floor city building breakroom. Participants will be provided with brunch from SamB’s and a hot cocoa bar.
  • First Responders’ Spotlight: This auction is for up to five participants to ride in the holiday parade in a fire engine with Fire Chief Bill Moorman at the wheel. Others from the winners’ group can also walk alongside the fire engine and hand out candy. This experience will start with a breakfast of bakery treats and hot cocoa when participants arrive at the Court Street fire station. There will also be an opportunity for photos with Santa. The winners’ family or business name will be displayed on a 4′ x 30″ sign on the front of the fire engine for parade-goers to see as the winner and their guests ride down Main Street on the parade route.
  • BG 4 x 4 Fest: This auction is for two or three individuals to ride along with BG 4 x 4 Fest in the parade, greeting 4 x 4 enthusiasts. Doughnuts, hot chocolate, stocking hats, and BG 4 x 4 Fest shirts will be provided for the winners. Local Drive, the non-profit organization providing scholarships in agriculture and the trades benefit from the proceeds of this event.
  • Royal Balcony: This auction is for four to six individuals to view the parade from American Warming & Ventilating’s “Royal Balcony,” at the corner of Main and Clough Streets. Participants can have breakfast with the team of AWV at their family-friendly office party. Doughnuts and other treats will be provided, and Christmas movies will be played throughout.

Tickets are 10 for $10 or 25 for $20.

To use LiveSource, download the LiveSource app or visit bit.ly/BGPARADE to browse available experiences. If someone would like to place their first bid or buy their first raffle ticket on LiveSource, they are asked to enter their name, email, phone, and credit card numbers. This is the only time they will need to enter information.

In the event that the 2025 BG holiday parade is canceled due to inclement weather, the “Holiday Parade Experiences” will not be rescheduled for the same year. Instead, winners will be invited to redeem their prize packages at the 2026 BG holiday parade. However, the winner of the “Celebration” prize package will receive a certificate for a rescheduled ride through BG Pedal Company.
