The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Mr. Gabe Pollock-O’Dorisio is the April 2024 Student of the Month. Gabe is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 26. He is the son of Joel O’Dorisio and Mary Pollock.
Gabe’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and National Spanish Honors Society. Gabe participates on the varsity golf team where he was a three-time scholar athlete award winner and received the team sportsmanship award in 2022. Gabe has also competed in the U.S. National Invention Convention in 2019 and 2020 and was the winner of the Government and Public Safety for all students in grades 5-8 in 2019.
Outside of school, Gabe works at the Crosswinds Golf Club and volunteers at the Wood County Committee on Aging. In his free time, Gabe has achieved the black stripe level in Aikido.
Gabe currently has a composite ACT score of 35 and a 4.32 grade point average. After high school, Gabe plans to attend either Colgate University or Vassar College to pursue a degree in chemistry.
