Gary E. Book, 55, of Weston, Ohio, passed away June 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 11, 1966 in Bowling Green to Larry and Judith (Clark) Book. He married Marianne Noon on January 21, 1989 and she survives in Weston.
Along with his wife of 33 years Marianne, Gary is survived by his son Kevin (Toni) Book of Bowling Green, Step-Children Jodi (Jarrid) Howard of Bowling Green and Mark Slane (Julia Thurston) of Weston, his mother Judy Book of Bowling Green, grandchildren Hailey Book, Adalynn Book, Rosie Book and Lauren Noon and siblings Tim Book of Perrysburg, Matthew (Stephanie Book of Elmore and Debra (Paz) Obregon of Jerry City.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry Book, brother Mike Book and in-laws Lawrence and Louise Noon.
Gary worked as a maintenance mechanic at Johns Manville in Waterville. He loved spending time camping, boating and perch fishing with his friends and family. He had an interest in old cars and enjoyed working on them. His pride and joy were his four granddaughters whom he loved dearly.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Larry Garzony will officiate. Interment will follow at Weston Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
