State Rep. Theresa Gavarone, R-Bowling Green, has been appointed to serve on the Ohio House Finance Committee. The House Finance Committee is tasked with passing the two-year state operating budget, which is being deliberated by the House and is expected to be signed into law by the end of June.
Gavarone also serves as vice chair of the House Health Committee, as well as a member on the following committees: Education & Career Readiness, Higher Education & Workforce Development, and Civil Justice
Gavarone is serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives after being appointed in 2016. She represents the 3rd Ohio House District, serving residents of Wood County.
