Gladys E. Herr of Weston Ohio passed away at Heritage Corner, Bowling Green, Ohio on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Gladys was born on March 6, 1922 in Ayersville, Ohio to Karl F & Katie (Gaylord) Schlumbohm. She married Raymond P. Herr on December 24, 1942 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2008. She is survived by daughters, Anita L. Brooks and Marsha L. Hammersmith, Bowling Green, OH, Kay A.(Ronald) Kummer, Clear Lake, IN and Judy C. Herr, Maumee, OH. Grandchildren: Todd C. (Robyn) Kummer, Burlington, VT, Robert G. (Caitlin) Kummer, Charlotte, NC, Lenee A. Hammersmith, Gentry L. (Robert) Green, Bowling Green, OH, Loudan P. Hammersmith, Dayton OH, Nicole L. Brooks, Bowling Green, OH, Joshua P. Brooks, Deshler, OH, Cynthia L. Brooks, Napolean, OH and six great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include George F. Schlumbohm, Bowling Green, OH, Mary Riker, Napoleon, OH and Nancy (Hilbern) Stillberger, Findlay, OH and brother-in-law Norman Williams. Preceding her in death are siblings Richard Schlumbohm, Ruth (Floyd) Williams, Emma Lou Tyson, Myra (Norman) Williams and Karl William (Marilyn) Schlumbohm.
Friends are invited to visitation on Thursday from 1 – 6 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St. A Celebration of Life Service will also be at the funeral home on Friday, September 30th beginning at 1:00 p.m.
