Today, Harbor began providing notice of an incident that may involve information related to certain individuals that were patients, employees, or board members of Harbor.
On August 1, 2025, Harbor was alerted to suspicious activity on our computer network. Harbor immediately launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the activity. Through the investigation, we determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and took certain files on our network between July 25, 2025 to August 1, 2025. Harbor subsequently conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted account to determine the type of information present and to whom it relates. Harbor is notifying affected individuals by sending notice letters through the U.S. Postal Service to those for whom it has a mailing address.
The categories of information that may be involved varies by individual, but could include some combination of name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license number or other state identification number, medical diagnosis and treatment information, clinical information, financial account information and health insurance information.
The confidentiality, privacy, and security of information within Harbor’s care are among its highest priorities. Upon discovering the incident, Harbor promptly launched an investigation to determine what data may be involved. Harbor also notified law enforcement and continues to evaluate its policies and procedures related to data privacy and security.
