This is Harley, a 6-month-old mixed breed that was brought in as a stray to the Wood County Dog Shelter. He loves everybody he meets – people and dogs – and is a typical puppy, according to Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding.
He loves to “talk” to people, and loves his toys. His favorite activity is chasing grasshoppers when he is out on his walks.
Harley is 25 pounds and will probably get to around 40 pounds when he is full grown.
The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed. The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
