Harold L. Snyder, 91, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away July 20, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1925 in Tontogany, Ohio to Fred and Pearl (Freed) Snyder. He married Mary Jean Klopfenstein in June of 1961 and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2010.
Harold was known by many as the Bicycle Man in Bowling Green. He retired from school bus driving for the Bowling Green City Schools and he was a member of The Village View Church of Christ in Bowling Green.
He is survived by his sons Richard L. Stewart of Fort Myers, Florida and John R. Snyder of Bowling Green, Ohio, daughters Sherrie M. Stewart of Fort Myers, Florida, Nancy J. Olah of Bowling Green, Ohio and Becky (Charles) Klingshirn of Liberty Center, Ohio. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 22, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical district of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home. Rev. David Boswell will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
