Helen M. Snyder age 88, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at The Lakes of Monclova in Maumee, OH. She was born Helen Marie Goodman on December 13, 1936 in Perrysburg, OH to Ernest C. and Ruth E. (Emch) Goodman. She married Lyle F. Snyder on May 29, 1954 in Stony Ridge, OH. Helen and Lyle raised 3 children and celebrated over 60 years of marriage, before Lyle’s passing in 2014.
Helen worked as a homemaker looking after her husband and children when they were younger. She was a woman of great faith and was a member of Monclova Road Baptist Church. While her family remembers her as being a homebody. Helen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her sons: Richard (Becky) Snyder of Grand Rapids, OH, and Randy (Mary) Snyder of Bowling Green. Grandchildren: Matthew (Sasha) Williams, Michelle (Tyler) Ruegsegger, Jade (Kamia) Snyder, Richard Snyder, Miranda Haynes, Ryan Snyder, 18 great-grandchildren, and son-in-law; Jim Williams of Perrysburg. In addition to her husband Lyle, she is preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Debbie Williams, and infant granddaughter; Macy Williams.
Family and friends will be received 9-11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH. Burial will be in the Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Officiating will be, Pr. Tim Womack.
