The candidates and issues for the primary election on March 17, 2020, have been filed with the Wood County Board of Elections.
The only tax issues to appear on the ballot for Bowling Green voters are two renewals for Bowling Green City School District:
- 1.35 mills, substitute of an emergency levy, for a continuing period of time, to avoid an operating deficit.
- 4.2 mills, renewal, for a continuing period of time, for current expenses.
Several candidates filed to appear on Democratic or Republican ballots for county and state positions. The primary election will determine which candidate from each party will move ahead to the general election in the fall.
