The cast of Horizon Youth Theatre’s She Kills Monsters directed by Mikayla Trimpey performed an excerpt of their show at the Ohio Community Theatre Association’s OCTA Fest Jr in Tiffin on Saturday, August 2. The cast, slightly amended from the original 2024 group, consisted of Violet Grossman, Fox Roberts-Zibbel, Alexander Sands, Avery Hensley, Callum Mathers, Liam Rogel, Eve Barman, Juliet Erekson, Em McLeod, Calista Motisher, Maggie Otley, and Huxley Beard. Harley Partlow, Liz Robertson, Pat Mahood, Charlie Vostal, and Avery Myers attended as production team members and crew.
Fox Roberts-Zibbel and Alexander Sands were presented with “All Star Cast” medals, and Juliet Erekson received an ensemble actor trophy. Callum Mathers, Fox Roberts-Zibbel, Liam Rogel, and Alexander Sands also won Merit in Acting certificates.
She Kills Monsters was originally performed in November 2024 at the Grand Rapids Town Hall Theater.
