From WOOD COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) invites the community to its 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the WCBDD parking lot at 1921 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green.
This family-friendly celebration will feature decorated trunks, festive costumes, sweet treats, and an atmosphere designed to be safe, fun, and sensory-friendly. The event is open to all ages, and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes while enjoying a night filled with inclusion and Halloween spirit.
“Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and our Trunk-or-Treat is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors of all ages and abilities to come together and celebrate in a welcoming environment,” said Brent Baer, WCBDD superintendent.
In addition to the trick-or-treat fun, hot cocoa and goodies will be provided for attendees. The event highlights WCBDD’s mission to support, empower, and inspire individuals with developmental disabilities while strengthening community connections.
